Experience Required: 6–10 years of experience in production / manufacturing, preferably in Defence, Aerospace, precision engineering, or heavy fabrication.

Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Production Engineering (Diploma with strong relevant experience may also be considered).

Role Summary:

The Senior Production Engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, and optimizing production activities for Defence and Aerospace components and assemblies. The role will ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and delivery targets while driving continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise day‑to‑day production activities for assigned Defence and Aerospace components / assemblies.
• Ensure that production is carried out as per process sheets, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Monitor productivity, downtime, and rework, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores to ensure smooth production flow.
• Drive 5S, safety practices, and discipline on the shop floor.
• Support new product / process trials and contribute to process standardization.
• Train and guide operators and junior engineers to meet performance and quality expectations.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, logs, and documentation as required.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of machining / fabrication / assembly processes (as applicable).
• Exposure to Defence / Aerospace quality requirements will be an added advantage.
• Experience in reading engineering drawings and process documents.
• Hands‑on experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, and basic problem‑solving tools.
• Good people management, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Certifications / Standards:

Exposure to aerospace quality systems, ISO / AS standards, or Defence sector norms will be preferred.

Working Conditions / Shift:

Shop‑floor based role with shift working as per business requirements.

Experience Required: 3–7 years of experience in mechanical / aerospace design, preferably in Defence or Aerospace domain.

Educational Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering from a recognized institution.

Role Summary:

The Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of aerospace components and sub-assemblies, ensuring compliance with functional, reliability, and manufacturability requirements. The role involves creating 3D models, 2D drawings, and supporting cross‑functional teams through the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models and detailed 2D drawings for aerospace components and assemblies using CAD tools.
• Study customer specifications and translate them into robust design solutions.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
• Support design reviews, DFMEA, and other technical assessments.
• Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs.
• Maintain design documentation, revision control, and configuration management as per standards.
• Provide engineering support for continuous improvement and value engineering initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerancing for aerospace components.
• Exposure to Defence / Aerospace design standards and customer requirements is desirable.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.

Certifications / Standards:

Familiarity with aerospace standards (such as AS / MIL standards) will be an advantage.

Working Conditions / Shift:

Office‑based role with visits to manufacturing locations as required.
